Reid’s Guest House

Built during the temperance era in 1886, Reid’s provided “respectable” low cost accommodation. In the 21st century, Reid’s Guest House continues this tradition under the management of UnitingCare Ballarat. Much of the building’s original splendour can still be seen. Reid’s foyer features the original magnificent hand painted ceiling murals, carved timber stairway and colourful Art Nouveau leadlight windows.
